Did you know that the BSAC is not recognised as the governing body for the sport in Wales ?
Well it is not
Thats right the Sports Council of Wales does not recognise the British Sub Aqua Club and that is the reason why there are no longer any grants available to Welsh Diving clubs.
This is a situation that myself and many other members of our club wish to see changed, and change it must if our sport is to develop within the Principality
As you know the BSAC council elections are to be held this month and we see this as an oppotunity to get a welsh voice on the council to help remedy the current situation
Cynon Valley member Mark Anderson has therefore been nominated for council membership.
You should be recieving ballot papers within the next few days with your copy of DIVE magazine
PLEASE don't waste your vote
Don't bin your paper like most of us do (myself included)
Give Wales a chance and Mark your vote
