Hello,

Can someone give me a idea of the water temp in sharm this time of year and whether a shorty is ok.

Also can anyone recommend a decent dive centre in Sharks Bay.

Hi Mich,

We have 27 degrees in the water at the moment, but only you can say if thats shortie weather or not - yesterday Roger was in a drysuit, I was in shorts and t'shirt whilst all our guests were in shorties!

If its actually in Sharks Bay you are after there is only one I could recommend and that is Sharks Bay Umbi:

But if you want anywhere else I would normally recommend 3 centres but there is only one I can recommend at the moment and that is Emperor Divers due to all the rest being in a state of flux over the new work permit rules, whilst Emperor got theirs all sorted months ago and we haven't been affected :D

Have just booked online with emperor dives for 3 days, am flying out tomorrow morning so may not get confirmation, will give the centre a call to arrange which day to start, hope thats ok.

Bit of both really, Emperor have 'sprung' to bring a NI over from the UK (Sophie Rennie) and put us on a liveaboard so we are out of the way, she is running courses for 8 x Adv Dvr, 10 x Boat Handler, 3 x OWI and 2 x Adv Instr.
