Hi

On a couple of occasions I have updated my details using the online form but everytime my membership renewal arrives it has the old details. Is there a problem or is it just ignoring me?

Hi Ian

The current system generates an email to Membership Services at HQ. In the past we have had problems with the internal tracking of requests, things were getting lost on this and on things like the branch website updates. However, we have recently improved procedures at HQ and we have much better tracking of such things so it shouldn't be happening now. Try again, it should go through this time.

Ian

I have input our club info into this feature on the website at least 6 times since our AGM last april.
Each attempt has been fruitless
Its OK Ian they are ignoring me too

I take it that you're all sorted now Ian - a communication got lost somewhere but as I understand it we did already have your correct (updated) details on file. So the system does work as intended.

I thought we were past the pantomime season ;-)

I?m sorry Ian but I do not in any way accept your claim that the system doesn?t work. Whilst I accept that it may not be 100% absolute I can tell you that it DOES work the vast majority of the time ? I?m basing my information on actually seeing how HQ handle things and actually seeing the information being processed by membership services, on what information are you basing your assumption?

After some problems in the past HQ completely revised their handling procedures last year, I have personally reviewed the procedures that they now have in place. So may I suggest that you try something radical like actually contacting HQ (membership services) to try and sort out any perceived problems? Unless we know there are problems they can be very difficult to fix!
