I am thinking about buying a BCD, but I can't decide which one to get. I have heard good reports about the
Mares Morphos Twin, the Pegasus Wings and the Buddy Commando.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I am a great fan of AP valves kit vv robust and will last a lifetime. However, I would suggest that you see if you can borrow some of your club members kit and try it out in the pool before deciding what to get. We are all different shapes and sizes so what will suit a 6ft guy will not be any good for a petite lady!
Once you have made your choice you might want to get the chosen item at the cdive show in March there is a large number of suppliers present to check prices against
Have to second that thought about AP Valves' Buddy BCs. Mine is over 18 years old and still going strong. Customer Service is second to none as well.
That said my kids have Suunto jackets and they seem well built and durable.
I also like Mares regs but can't comment on their BCs.

Totally agree re Buddy Jackets. They have an inner bladder so if the jacket gets punctured you just need to replace/repair the bladder and stitch the outer jacket if needed. Also they are one of the only manufacturers who still supply emergency cylinders for the jackets. They even do a 300 bar version. They will replace the cylinder with a new one and service the valve for about ?30 when it comes due for testing. Again excellent after sales service

"Emergency cylinders" are an anachronism that serve no useful purpose. They give people a false sense of security. Avoid.

Be very careful of taking advice from opinionated people. Emergency cylinders have a use if you are happy with them then carry them. If you don't want one or don't like them then fine. But it's your choice not anyone elses
