just completed all DL stuff and signed off following a club trip away at Plymouth!!!! also got to do two wrecks I've wanted to do for ages - James Egan Layne (sp?) and The Scylla - really chuffed as i had to organise 24 grumpy, hungover divers on two RIBs - most of whom dropped out of one dive or another etc!!!!! from leaving breakfast at 8.15 to the brief on the jetty at 9 the list changed 4 times! - par for the coarse I guess!!!

just really happy to get it all done - started the year as SD and finished as DL and Asst Instr.

lovin' it!!!!

Nick.

And for your next trick?

Err, consolodate being a DL - organise some club trips (already got liveaboard booked for april), take newly qualified divers to quarries for experience, do some pool training - all help me gain experience as an instructor (also to see if i'm actually any good and/or WANT to progress instruction!) - also depth progression to 50m start further gas planning for longer deeper dives etc!!

wow! just re-read that and its knackered me out already!!!!!

*thanks everyone for your kind words - difficult to think just 2 years ago I was an OD trainee struggling to clear a mask!!! If "i" can do it, anyone can..

Hi Nick,

I jumped ship and am with Emperor Divers now, OC is changing rapidly and I didn't like the way they were going.

Check out the website for details on referrals.
