Hello,
I am trying to find a resonable priced boat repair shop or mechanic.
What it is, is I purchased a 17ft Microplus boad last year & already have an old engine & am looking to unite the two & also service the engine sort out wiring install all the electrics (radio, gps etc) at the same time.
I live in lincolnshire & someone as close as possible would be great.
Please feel free to email me tom@lindumfire.co.uk

Do you want to give us a clue where? The UK is a big place you don't really want recommendations at the other end

I'm sure I read Lincolnshire , but the only boat builder i know that was good was a guy near Mount Sinai called NOAH. He would of had a monopoly in the Red Sea if only he had spent less time building his boat so big and spent time on scuba gear

Tom,

You don't say which bit of Lincolnshire, but one of the best boat builders/mechanics I know in the East Anglia is Snellings in Brancaster (Norfolk). That could be a 45 min drive or a 3 hour drive for you but better advice than anyone else has given so far!!

Their details are here:

I used to work for a boat builders in Morston (just down the coast), we took all our outboards (approx 200 a year) to them for servicing.
