Truk - best time of year

Afternoon,

Members of our branch have had two trips to Truk -
both at Easter, to keep the school teaching fraternity
happy.

A suggestion of a third trip has been made, but I
wouldn't mind going during the summer school holidays
as the Easter trips had severe time constraints.

I've suggested this, but some fear that the weather
is a major issue during the summer. Typhoons got
a mention.

Does anyone have any experience of Truk during the
summer?
