I'm diving with my uni branch and we regularly use Capernwray. The Uni want a formal Risk Assesment for each site we dive for H&S purposes.

Does anyone have a copy our branch can borrow and then adapt for other sites?

Thanks

the new BOH has a typical Risk Assessment form in an annex. We're (Dundee Uni)in the process of implementing Risk Assessments on a routine basis - a generic shore and generic boat dive one, plus one for each site with an extra form that each diver signs before they dive at each site for the first time.

Does anyone know if there is a website or similar where such generic risk assessments (for Capernwray and other favourite dive sites) may be found. Obviously, each club should verify that the contents of any such documents are relevant to their own needs but why re-invent the wheel if someone already has prior knowledge of the risks.

Maybe BSAC could start a section of the website for such a purpose?
