We are a group of 2nd year undergraduate students at the University of Southampton studying a management module. For this, we have got to produce a report outlining the financial implications of developing underwater dive communications. It would be very much appreciaited if anyone could help us by sending any information on the following
-cost control
-scale of investment
-sources of funds
-likely return to investors
This information would help us greatly.
Many thanks.

Err, I hate to spout the blindingly obvious, but wouldnt it be
a good idea to talk to SUSAC?

At least you would have a very local contact who might be able
to point you in the right direction.

Said club may have pointed straight to the BSAC forum Terry. I doubt many, if any, of us could answer all 4 points though.

Not so sure. If they had, then I would suspect that the advice
might have been to direct questions to commercial
operations/forums rather than Sports divers.
As it seems your implying (which I agree with), not many use
comms in a Sport enviroment and even less would have any
grounding in the finances.

I reckon tey'd be better off speaking to FFM manufacturers like Aga, I'm sure they could advise on UW comms better than we reccies.
