I am looking for peoples opinions and thoughts on two diving clubs in Cornwall. Tolgus SAC and Peninsula SAC. If anyone knows of them or is a member of them could you PM me.

Thanks in advance.

Matt

Both good active clubs from what I know of them. Talk to Area Coach, John Adams john.adams@bsac.com :)

i'm the website officer for Peninsula Sub aqua club - if you'd like a chat about what diving we do the best person is the diving officer Brendon via our website www.cornishscuba.co.uk

We're an active diving club, as well as being active in training (novices, SDC's and instructor progression). We have 2 RHIB's and this year have had a club trip to Scilly, with a recent club trip to Scapa as well. We are an active member of the Kernow Federation of Dive clubs and are involved in the organisation and running of the Kernow Dive Festival (the original cornish dive fest!)

Tolgus are another local Redruth based club. We sometimes join together and share boats and several of their members attend our yearly dinner dance. They have slightly different facilities and therefore slightly different charges to us, so it's probably worth visiting both clubs and seeing which one fits your needs best. If you let us know when you want to come along to a pool night we'll organise a meeter/greeter for you, and you can have a chat to a few members to see if you like our club!

I'm not on here very frequently, so if you'd like any more info you can contact me or the diving officer via the contact us facility on the website.

Hope this helps,
Helen
