i used my vyper on nitrox for the first time on saturday and had problems. After a few minutes the display showing the no deco time left just zeroed and stayed like that for the rest of the dive. On the second dive where the time remaining should have been was just dashes so I had to rely on my buddy for the 3 minute safety stop. Has anyone encountered this before at all?

I haven't heard of this problem with the Vyper before but I do remember a few months back that the Vytec was subject to a recall for a similiar problem. I would suggest giving Suunto a ring.

Did the display just show dashes all the time?.

Your probably aware already that if the no stop time is over 199 minutes then the display will only show dashes. Also if the dive is lass than 10 mtrs then no safety stop is needed so nothing will be displayed.

Sorry if I'm simplifying things too much. If its not something like this then I would be intrested to hear if you get any response from Suunto.
