I've tried accessing with Firefox and Chrome, and it just hangs...
...oops, it's just come back to me in Chrome. Took about a minute and two prompts from Chrome to say the page had become unresponsive, did I want to wait or kill it.

Seems ok to me in Chrome?

Maybe it was a blip this morning, it now comes back in a reasonable time in both FF and Chrome. At the time though it was taking an age (had assumed the browser had hung), and I'd made numerous attempts.

Saying that the forum has been running very very slowly on my pc. To the point where it would not connect. Although YD has been fine. Using (IE)

The server is not busy, and I certainly can't see any performance issues here.
Your ISP is notorious for using transparent proxies though - that can cause the symptoms you describe.
If it becomes an issue, we can loko more closely at it - but these things usually sort themselves out quite quickly.
Vic.

Thanks. Seems ok now. Problem did last for a couple of hours or so. YD and bsac.com were running fine at the same time on the same PC.
The forum seemed to working fine from another pc (different broadband link) although I did not log on from it.
Thanks again.
Gary

You know the data centre is accessible, then.
YD and bsac.com live on the same shelf. The forum & other BSAC properties are about 3 feet higher, right under the icy blast of the air conditioning outlet :-)

Yep. Sounds like a proxy having a funny five minutes.
Vic.
