Lowestoft or Isle of Wight viz

Hi Hello there,
As I am planning to go for a diving trip of Lowestoft next week,
I would appreciate if anyone could give me information about the visibility over there.
Our range is +/-35 miles from Lowestoft.
If the viz is too bad, we would change plans and go for Isle of Wight
(Eastern Approaches). So, viz reports from there are also welcome!

No viz off Felixstowe yet so I think Lowestoft might be the same.

Hi Jan

This is probably too late, but the we dived the Boxer last Sunday (21st June), viz was easily 5m, and Freshwater Bay Monday evening (22nd), again 5m viz.

Almost definately too late but the viz off Lowestoft last weekend was 10 metres! Couldn't say what it was this weekend though because the echo sounder broke.
