Ageism strikes again.

Me:

55 years old
Fit, strong, intelligent, good looking (I have my own head bag),
Adventurous, versatile, fairly well off most of the time.
What has any youngster under 30 got that I want.
Answer = years! (blows raspbery)

Well, as I read it, they're only putting age limits on the women; the only restriction on the man is that he must be "very eligible"...

I've not (quite) learnt to breathe through my eardrums (which would certainly qualify), but I do have kit that lets me breathe underwater... ;-)

Trouble is, Vic, if you CAN breathe through your ears, you won't pass the diving medical! Aaaarrrgggghh!

Perhaps that is why this apnoea stuff is getting so popular?

You have a point, I mistakenly thought that they were asking for a guy of similar age. "very eligible" probably means loaded.
Sadly I'm not.

Perhaps!

Small businessman, 55, small debts, no heart condition, owns house and a flat, does dangerous sports, owns a fast car, had a wife.
Value alive? About ?35k a year. Value dead? about ?300k

I reckon I'll carry on spending my kids inheritance!
