Sorry about this!

I have 20 three and four year olds who want to know whether jellyfish have eyes.

I've done a search, but can't find the answer. Any of you lot know?

Thanks in advance!

I REALLY hope that you are a Nursery (or Reception)class Teacher...otherwise that's a scary breeding rate you got going on there!!!

The answer depends on what you mean by "eyes". Many jellyfish have light sensitive organs - so can sense which way is brighter (usually meaning "Up" - towards the sun)

I'm pretty certain that there is no higher function like "vision" in jellyfish - unless you beleive the press reports of jellyfish hunting divers (LOL)
