After 25 years on open circuit I've decided to give an SCR rebreather a go. If anyone knows of a unit available, specifically the Draeger Dolphin, Id be grateful. :)
Give HQ a ring & ask if the BSAC still has one, & if its for sale. I believe last year the techincal group sold off one of the Dolphins, they may well want to get rid of the last one if they still have it.

Can I ask why you have opted to go SCR?
When I looked at rebreathers I concluded that there was more 'faff' with SCR than CCR. In my humble opinion, SCR is a gas extender, very relient on a fixed MOD (Selected Nitrox mix), where as CCR not only extended gas time, but also ensures you are on optimum mix irrispective of dive depth.
For this reason I bought a CCR, if the site changes due to conditions, then I am not restricted by the dive gas.

Thanks for the replies, I've managed to source a unit. :D
Reason for SCR, I guess it's my first step into rebreathers. If I get on ok and want to progress I may well move to CCR in the future. Experience on SCR will, IMHO, be the best option for me to dip my toe into the water as it were.
