Hi Maria
Having watched Reginald Perrin last night in my room in the lovely Holiday Inn, Ellesmere Port. No-one better than you to do the job IMHO :p ;)
Home now I am!

I just watched it last night - I'm confused as to why there would be a re-maoke of Rg Perrin as it was so iconic, but there you go.
I'm serious though... if he has only ever dived in warm water and is doing a documentary involving diving in the UK. which numpty let him straight onto a wreck in the sea with the completely dodgy viz that is here by comparison to abroad??????
As Andy Moll was involved in the Blue Peter thingy and Martin Clunes is on BBC, perrhaps he could offer someones services to help him get his confidence back and potentially enjoy UK waters? Some nice shallow seal dives or something?
best wishes,
Maria

You are assuming the different parts of the BBC talk to each other.

beeb might not but we can at least have a go, good idea Maria, thanks for bringing it up
I will see if we can get in contact
Surely TV presenters who dive for a TV programme, must be trained and approved by the HSE?

email has now been sent to his agent, lets see if we can get him back in UK waters via a freindly local club, without all of the hassel that is filming and diving
