Sound of Mull, Coll and Tiree 1-4th May 2009

Hi All,

I have 4 spaces left on a club trip up the Sound of Mull and out to Coll and Tiree next weekend (1st May bank holiday).

We will be diving from Kylebhan (liveaboard). The total cost for the weekend (3 days diving) is £195. That includes Accomodation, Food and Air. Nitrox is available for an extra premium.

The plan is ....

Friday night - around 8pm

Arrive in Oban, stow kit on boat and relax and enjoy local pub

Saturday - Depart Oban 8am - Dive Hispania and Shuna

Saturday Night - Spend night moored up in Tobermory. The mish nish awaits

Sunday - Travel to Coll and Dive the Nevada and Tapti or possibly the cairns of Coll

Monday Travel back down the sound and dive the Rondo and the Breda.

THIS TRIP IS ONLY OPEN TO SPORTS DIVERS AND ABOVE - sorry but most of the wrecks are in excess of 20 metres.

Hi all,

I forgot to say, there is a minibus going from Ashbourne in Derbyshire. It can stop on the way to Oban and pick people up so you dont have to worry about the journey there or the journey back.

We had a fantastic time when we went a couple of years ago, and it only took about a week to get rid of the diesel smell from your clobber!. Donna was the cook then and it must be said, rustled up a cracking dinner with not a lot to hand. Have fun!.

(I'm planning a return in 2010.)
