Hi everyone,

I've lost my deco tables (waiting for my new ones to hit the door mat).

In the mean time, I'm going to Dahab on Thursday and was thinking about doing the Mount Sinai trip. This means a trip up a mountain so need to work out my minimum surface interval!

Want to get the trip booked before I go if it's dooable.

Could someone tell me what the minimum surface interval would be? Details are:

Assuming the last dive of the day finishes on a code G (which is more than likely will) - the top of the mountain is 2285m/7500f.

Thanks, any help would be greatly appreciated!

You'll be going up to a level 4, so, assuming the atmospheric pressure at sea level is above 984, you need to wait 4 hours to get you back to a B1. That will give you a D4 at the top of the hill.

I, personally, would leave it a bit longer, especially if you might be dehydrated. Overnight would be good!

Thanks Ed!

I think the trip leaves at 2am so doesn't look like it's going to happen this time.

Good excuse to go back!

You mean you need to leave the bar to go on a trip?

Good God man, what are you thinking about?
