Can anyone give me a reliable weather site on the net. Preferably 5-7 day forcasts. Like the BBC. Ive visited a few and Im suprised at the differences i.e. BBC 4mph wind, Met 10mph ??

I usually use the BBC. Here are a couple I've looked at (I can't vouch for the quality):

Try European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts <a href="http://www.ecmwf.int/" >http://www.ecmwf.int/</a> and click on Deterministic medium-range forecast charts.

www.buoyweather.com gives global 5-day swell and wind forecasts on a 1 degree latitude and 1.25 degree longitude grid. I've found it pretty reliable for offshore locations, but the coarse grid means that forecasts are not available for some enclosed areas eg northern Irish Sea. Some people find the site hard to use. From the home page select Data Browser from the menu bar at the top, click Browser Guide from the menu which drops down, then follow the instructions.

Yip we have weather (9 day) and tide links on our website, (advertising). The Wetterzentral site is worth spending some time on, as there is some gold nuggets.

The best I've found recently is Metcheck:

Here's a 3 day sample for Northumberland:

and heres a longer range forecast for the following 7 days:
