Hi,

My GF has a typhoon drysuit with latex neck seal, but thats it. My suit has the latex, with a neoprene over collar for tucking the hood into.

Is it easy to fit an aftermarket neoprene collar?, just cut to size and glue and tape? (obviously proper glue and tape, not superglue and pvc tape  )

Thanks for the help...

I would have thought it wouldn't be too hard, but I ask the question why you would want to do that?

I have a Northern Diver membrane drysuit with a neoprene collar and it is a nuisance as water gets trapped between the neck seal and the collar. You have to remember to empty it out before taking the suit off otherwise you get a drenching!

I really don't know what purpose it serves other than a bit of protection to the latex neck seal.

You'll only get a flood if you dont leave a small hole at the front of the collar to allow the water to drain out....

We want it to stop the cold water flood ocurring into the hood.
