I am planning a holiday in Japan in a few weeks time, staying on Honshu. It would be nice to get a dive in whilst I am there, and I believe that Izu Hanto is supposed to be quite good. Does anyone know of any English speaking contacts that could help me arrange a days diving over there.
Thanks
Alan

Why not contact BSAC Japan from here (http://www.bsac.com/peopledetails.asp?itemid=256&itemTitle=BSAC+Japan§ion=1910§ionTitle=BSAC+International).

One of our club members is there at the moment, 2 year contract from him
JUE (www.jue.jp) for techie / DIR style diving and Discovery Diving (www.discoverydiverstokyo.com) for more recreational diving. Or if he would like some BSAC style buddying he could always contact me. Thomas at JUE is a regular buddy, dedicated cave diver and GUE instructor while Jim at Discovery is a friendly and knowledgeble instructor. BSAC Japan may be able to help out ... but BSAC Japan is a commercial organisation with limited English.
PM me if you want his email
