Compressors, how much?

The club membership post, shows that many clubs run a compressor. How much would you expect to pay for it? and how much would it cost to run, say per year?

It may well be something my club can look into if it is a viable concern.

IME, costs to buy, anywhere from 2k to 20k or more, running costs, about a couple of hundred pounds per annum for annual service (minus parts), filter changes every 30-50 hours at a cost of maybe ?10-50 for the filter (depends who you know ;). It's a good long term investment but it ain't necessarily a cheap option in the short term
