Good to promote underwater activity/interest?
OR: On the cringy side due to the over dramatic narration, emphasising every third or fouth word - irrelevant to its actual level of meaning?

Prefer to go there, but anything on TV shows my friends what it is like - so cant be bad. I do get irate at the land based narration who is embarresingly dramatic.

Only problem is the emphasis on how dangerous these dives are supposed to be - makes my friends think I'm doing something REALLY dangerous when the dives they do are the sort of bread and butter dives we all do. Hope no insurance agencies are watching!

They operate under different HSE ACOPS, but feedback is that most listeners sense the script and narration is a bit full of weak adjectives.

I know - I cringe every time I watch it, but some of my none diving friends accept the 'intrepid' diving bit almost as gospel. Since most insurance companies take any excuse to bump up the premium I wish they'd tone the dangerous, intrepid diving down a bit to what it really is - basic diving for those with half decent training.

Any views This is a dreadful representation of diving in the UK I found the female presenter irritating to say the least if she can't stay down at 20m for more than 12min without draining an entire 12L cylinder I suggest she goes back to diving school! This is not what diving is like in the UK They make out as if they are diving uncharted wrecks (not the case) all have been well documented in dive guide books and fully researched. My view is that it is a pathetic attempt to bring diving to the TV - Bring back Martha Holmes!!!
