Are there any female divers out there who have successfully returned to scuba diving after radiotherapy for breast cancer?
Having difficulty finding out information

I've not seen much around, but this link might help point the way.

6 years ago I returned to diving after a lumpectomy, high dose chemo (CAF), bone marrow transplant and radiotherapy to 5 fields (right breast and superclav back and front and left superclav back and front). In the States for PADI I had to check that there was no damage to the lung from the radio therapy hitting it. I had a lung function test, a chest X-ray and a CT scan of lung. A year later I also had a node removed from my left lung and had to have all the above again as I returned to the UK and BSAC system, and was passed fit to dive by a Dr in Edinburgh, who is on the recommended BSAC list. Much to his surprise he could see no reason why I could not dive. He was very helpful and quite informative. Good luck.
