How refreshing to see reported that the 'professional' organisation from the other side of the pond can make mistakes eh? Misprints in six versions of recreational dive planners, never. This only happens in BSAC theory test papers surely. Makes you think eh?

Yep, but look how quickly they informed the membership and as
all the RDP's are batch numbered could instigate a recall.
It only applied to a small number sold in the US anyway.
Of course BSAC would recall for misprints in say Nitrox Tables
and redoe/reprint dodgy exam papers just as quick.
Well wouldnt they?
Surely?
Your joking, of course they would!
Sadly not!

BSAC did re-print a page correction to the nitrox tables IIRC.
The unfortunates part of the whole business was quite a small notice somewhere, I cant remember where. It may even have been council minutes or something like that.
Even then I could only get the page for myself, and not for all the club. Imagine the postage costs this could have saved. A heavy boarded envelope was used to protect a single page of plastic. What a waste.
I wonder if HQ have records of how many requested the ammended page...
Probably not, and if they have, I wonder how it reflects against the number of tables sold with the error.
