Looking for places in the world where you still get more than one money thingy for the pound - not easy. Might have to try the channel Islands despite saying never in the UK :D
In truth going to rob a bank and get to the Azores :)

Hoping to get out on 3rd Jan for a dip in or around Portland Harbour.
Probably skills and drills in Vobster early on in the year when the weathers bad.
Portland and Plymouth diving - hopefully looking at some unknowns as well as the usual wrecks.

As in 2008, Fyne-divers will continue to run the South Scottish Regional training day(s) on the 2nd weekend of each month.
Contacts are either myself or R.Burgess (http://www.bsacforum.co.uk/forums/member.php?u=436) the two main organisers.
We offer training for Ocean Diver, Sport Diver, Dive Leader and Advanced Diver (with sufficient numbers). In addition members are welcome to just undertake experience dives.
These events are also available for budding instructors (whom have completed the Instructor Foundation Course (http://www.bsac.com/courses.asp?section=1406§ionTitle=Instructor+Foundation+Course)) to gain experience of teaching (under supervision) in a real diving environment with students you may not know.
During the past year participants have come from the North Scottish Region and interest has been shown from people South of the Boarder, all are welcome in 2009.
As part of our Risk Assessment it would be useful if participants could bring proof of qualifications, completed training and their current medical or Fitness-to-Dive certificate; just like any other Regional event we must ensure you have completed any preliminary training before we can conduct lessons.
Have a Merry Christmas and some good diving during 2009

Just ****ed off with the worst diving weather year since i qualified. That figure is accurate for number of sea dives planned that were canned this year.
Meeting at the local on Tuesday to discuss 2009 trips. We'll keep you informed Divingchef. How is 'Chefess' doing?

Why should that happen to you? It doesn't happen to anyone else ;)
