Hi everyone,

Ive used BSAC Forums for a while now to get info on various diving questions, so I thought it was about time I registered...

I am pretty much new to diving, completed my OW course at the start of november and I've booked my Advanced for mid december this year @ capernwray quarry.

I just wish I'd thought of getting into diving sooner!!!, i'm totally addicted already started getting my kit together (dry suit, fins, mask etc etc). All I seem to do with my time is look at gear review sites or spend hours watching diving videos on youTube..... GEEK!!

Planning to do Mull in the new year, luckily my girlfriend grew up there so we can stay with her dad...;)

Anyway enough waffling from me...

ciao for now!!

Indeed, welcome SeaMonkey!

Im glad your enjoying your diving, I think im in a similar position as yourself, last year I qualified as an Ocean Diver and im just about to complete my Sports Diver qualification.

Have you done many dives in the UK seas yet? Some of the sites are brill.

Hell no!

UK diving is the best (alright, maybe not the best, but not far off).
Any of the Dorset coast, farne islands is just amazing, its the only reason I signed up to diving.

I guess it really depends on what you want to get out diving, if its only a couple times a year abroad then thats fair enough. For me, its most weekends, as often as I can :D (in the sea!)
