You can use the "custom animation" feature of Powerpoint (2002? onwards)
- Rclick on the object (eg picture of diver)
- Custom animation
- Add effect
- Motion paths
- Draw custom path
- Freeform (or whatever you want)

Did you remove the word REMOVE in capitals?
