Re-fitting an APEX auto dump valve

Hi there,

Does anyone know what the correct method to re-fitting the above. I thought it would be a good idea to take it off my drysuit, clean up and try and re-fit. The thing is when I fit it does not look or work correctly, so obviously I've done something wrong. This is the standard valve and not the low profile version.

When I did mine I just screwed it back in the same place it came out of. It was fitted to a rubber support patch though so didn't require glueing in place.

As far as I remember you can't overtighten the bottom section when screwing it together.

Have you done anything to the valve other than given it a good rinse?
