I work for a marine conservation organisation and we are often looking for Dive Officers (DO) to work our on research programmes overseas. The DOs have to be qualified instructors and be experienced in instructing as well as boat handling and prferably have some technical knowledge. There official role is to manage all diving operations associated with the marine research programme, including the supervision of daily scuba and in-water activities and to ensure the proper maintenance of all dive equipment and boats.
Posts are for a 12 months and we provide flights, insurance, accommodation and a local wage, which is paid at the end of the contract.
