I've got a couple of old Oceanic regs. I haven't used them for quite a while, but as we have new trainees in the branch, they're going back in the water.
The other night, we decided to pull a reg apart, so that the trainees could see what this magical item really is. It all went well, with the reg performing significantly better afterwards than before. But we did have one snag...
The Delta 2 has a cracking pressure adjustment. This was non-functional; when we open it up we found out why - there was a piece missing. It must have been that way for a decade or so, too. So I emailed Oceanic on Thursday to ask about getting a replacement part. The reply was short (as I expected) and extremely helpful (which TBH I didn't) - "send us your address and we'll see what we can find".
So this morning, a package came through the letter box with a small piece of plastic inside - just what I need :-)
So to Ali Harbird & everyone at Oceanic - thanks! I'm *thoroughly* impressed :-)
