View Full Version : Calling all DUI Drysuit Divers.....
....wot you doing this Thursday afternoon/evening?
If you dive a DUI suit, come to Stoney Cove from 2pm onwards. The renowned Cave Explorer and film maker Gavin Newman will be giving talks about cave diving in Russia whilst some of the guys from DUI HQ (California) will be around to answer any burning questions you might have about your suit.
There's free diving from 5pm - 7pm followed by a mouthwatering free Hog Roast, with the only proviso being that you must be an owner of the DUI drysuit. So to register for this exciting event please log onto http://www.dui-online.co.uk/register.htm. Cut off for registration is 12 noon tomorrow, ie Tuesday 16th September.
Thank you.

Are there many russian speaking divers at stoney cover then?
:D
Maybe if he gave the talk in Hurghada, he`d have a more understanding audience......................... or an audience that understood more
Somehow I think the caves are in Russia not the talk in Russian :D
This DUI Drysuit drivers event can be helpful in clearing ones doubts regarding DUI cases .It is very helpful in avoiding DUI convictions.

Wierd spam. A quick google on Macmillan and DUI and I think DUI also means Driving Under the Influence. I've killed it anyway.

Says it all.
I doubt that Mr. William Hogarth Main would be particularly amused.

Drysuit-maker DUI has been traveling around the US, providing hundreds of divers each week the opportunity to test their drysuits. Locations range from commercial diving school tanks, to lakes, to quarries -- even the ocean. However, during August 18-20, some lucky divers will get the chance to dive in the Oregon Coast Aquarium. Booking in advance with local DUI dealers, divers are fitted in a DUI drysuit system, perform a "check out" dive with aquarium staff, and then are allowed to dive for up to 30 minutes in two featured aquaria within the Aquarium.

Yes Bob as a DUI owner I am aware of the DOG events. However this event in the UK not the US is being targetted at existing DUI owners not potential ones.
I wonder how many DUI owners except me aren't working on a Thursday afternoon. Just think they are missing out on a potential market.

Fiona,
Am I being particularly dense here? Most comments, including mine, centred around the fact that this thread appears to be Troll-based, in spite of the fact that you started it, and you are definitely not a Troll. In my case I thought, maybe still think, that your address got hijacked?
I just think that your original post was so tongue-in-cheek as to almost certainly be a Troll.

 I didn't start the thread Roz did.
The DUI (US based drysuit manufacturer) has links to StoneyCove so it wouldn't be unusal for them to host events as they are the UK distributor.
I made a tongue in cheek comment about the cave being Russian, I can't see what else is wrong with my post.
Obviously I haven't gone, had something more important to do. :)

Ooops, got it wrong as usual. Apologies! Sorry even.
My comments firstly, and wrongly, directed at you are now more correctly directed at Roz.
Roz?
I, for one, would like to know what this is all about.

why do you need to know anything Christian ?
It is an afternoon out for DUI drysuit owners with cave talk and a BBQ, don't think there is anything suspicious.
Anyway isn't it past your bedtime down under :p
Here is the information on the Stoney Cove website DUI Owners night (http://www.stoneycove.com/special_events.htm)
Well , how did it go ?
Funnily enough, I spent the evening with some friends over from San Diego, but nothing to do with diving, we had some Peri Peri chicken.
Did the pig get eaten ? Did anyone understand Gavin Newmans Russian accent ?
Bon Jour
