nitrox card

Gained my sports diver few weeks ago. Just wondering if dive shops will accept this for Nitrox fills or will i need to further purchase a seperate nitrox card even though i,m already qualified for Nitrox.
Clarification on this matter would be much appreciated.

Similar subject, as a newly qualified ocean diver, under BSAC guidlines im allowed to use Nitrox fills using Air Tables.

How do the shops take to this, can I just say im using it on Air tables? I've not yet tried but im sure its going to come up shortly.

You need to apply for your C card HERE (http://www.bsac.org/page/818/nitrox-diver-workshop.htm) then present it when you have a fill

Yep, check out the link, I believe all the details are there. BSAC Ocean come into us for NITROX and produce a C card with Photo.

Ive never been asked for a card of any sort to buy nitrox anywhere in the UK.

In the UK no. Its always analysed in front of me (and i do it myself later) and thats it. No nannying. The system works.

Hi,

From my understanding (and I've just checked with the Shop), the cost of your Ocean Diver "Q" Card was part of the training Pack you paid for. Now all you have to do is send in the "Q" Card application form from the training pack and the Shop will sent the card direct to your home address.
