Hi all :)
I'm looking to get a dry suit, I quite like the look of the oceanic flexia and have heard good things.
There is a very good deal on at the moment, £450 and a free Uggi 2. My LDS can get nowhere near this and it'd cost me about £200 more for the same thing. Be nice to get it there and get measure correctly but not at that cost i'm afraid :(
This leaves me with ordering it online and measuring myself

I measured myself against this. Not sure I fit into any of the sizes properly tho, I feel strange alien shaped at the moment :o
I got:
Chest 105
Waist 102
Hips 107
Inside Leg 86
Height 180
All Round 172
Size 10 Feet
I just measured over jeans and a tshirt. Will any of these do, or will I probably need some sort of made to measure suit ? They can't provide the tall or short variations just the main ML L and XL sizes.
Thanks for any replies :)

I also looked at the flexia and was able to try some on and none of them fitted me properly so also got the 'I must be a strange shape' feeling.
I then visited another dive shop and went for a Aqua-tek made to measure which cost pretty much the same.
See http://www.aquatekdrysuits.co.uk/
The suits are great quality and as far as Im concerned equal or better to the flexia (I prefer the boots on mine).
Scuba + Outdoor sell them through their various stores (if your near the Midlands) but you may be able to get them elsewhere.

Hi Mark,
Between my made to measure wedding dress and made to measure dry suit! I would strongly suggest having someone measure you. I think from memory, my wedding dress needed 6 measurements and my dry suit needed 20 measurements.
The dress had to looking pretty for just the one day, whilst my drysuit is getting a lot more use.

Hi Mark,
where are you based? Several manufacturers have excellent reputations for made to measure, and you can visit the factories for informative information on how they are made, and to be properly measured by the people who are going to make your suit.
In the Leeds area - Seaskin, Otter and Roho all have good reputations. In the south west O'three seem excellent, and I know several folk with good experiences of polar bear suits.
Even if you are not based especially close to a manufacturer - it really honestly is worth taking the day trip, and paying a premium, to get a suit which fits absolutely correctly - it offers so many advantages for both your comfort and your safety!
I'm planning on replacing my current Otter not-so-dry suit (it is getting on a bit) soon, and it will probably involve a visit to the Seaskin factory.
good luck.

Hi,
I'm over in Northern Ireland, there's nothing like that near me i'm afraid ! Only 2 dive shops to choose from as well without making a trip over the water. One of them is pretty good tho and will get you whatever your after.
I was looking the Northern Diver Divemaster Neo suit as well. It can be made to measure and would be in my price range. I don't fit any of their 'normal' sizes either, i'm getting paranoid !
Anyone any experience or info on the divemaster ?
Thanks !
Hi Mark,
When I got my last suit (Otter) I printed off the measurement chart and when whent to a tailors (if you can find one today) to get measured.
Regards
Edward

I've managed to get a ND Divemaster new from ebay for a good price. According to the measuring chart it should fit ok. Got a good price, so if it doesn't fit I should be able to sell it on and get the money back for it.
Thanks for your help :)
