I'm taking the PI exam in 2 weeks.
Does anybody have any insight into typical lessons that I might be asked to teach?

Thanks in advance.

Literally anything from the Ocean or Sport syllabus. Borrow an instructor manual and work out a plan for every skill.

But continuing from what Pete has said AAS, CBL and Tow with AV would be well worth putting in a bit of extra effort with.

Regards and good luck

I done mine last year. I noted all the skills they taught on the OWI course and then went right through the new training manual picking out all the other possible skills. I then produced the following list and every one of them on the day was on my list

Mask Clearing
Buoyancy control
Drop and retrieve D.V. Breathe from free flowing D.V
Controlled Buoyant Lift. ( including mini CBL)
A.V. and Tow
Use of S.M.B
Compass use
Deploy D.S.M.B.
Buoyancy control with inflator stuck open.
Shot lift, move then recovery
AAS
Tow and Land casualty

I then went through the new manual and wrote notes for every one of the above, broken down into the individual lesson. These were done on a water proof notepad which I took with me and the lesson was already prepared for when I had to do mine. By doing this I now have a comprehensive bank of skills I can just pull out and use in training with little or no more preperation, because it's all done already.

Good luck
Derek
