ST3, the new theory lecture........ ;-(

Can anyone tell :-

1). How long is this lesson meant to last ?
2). Why no mention of a waster line ?
3). Catch bobber ?

Alot of the slides seem to be repeating information.

Personally I've not taught the lesson yet, its supposed to be an hour but most of the lectures seem to be taking an hour and a half for both OD and new SD

Cheers for that Pete,, i heard that all the lessons had different times,,,,and on the lesson notes, no time , no nothing ,,,,,,,


but it does tell you what you need for the lesson..

Wonders will never cease, perhaps these new changes need to be reviewed before they are sent out.

We are not modifying the lessons at the moment, just covering whats in them until we see what specific to our branch aspects need to be added.

I think an hour for most OD and SD lessons is about right. The DL ones have generally gone well over that, but what we have found is that it is very instructor dependant. Stick to the book an hour, elaborate / anecdotes much longer.

But nothing new there.

Cheers paul,

Having run thought this lesson a few times , have got it down to 75 minutes,

What i have found, is that parts of this touches parts but fully explained... what i have done is download the ADVANCE DIVER lecture from this site ,,, and used some of the slides from that ,, which are explained/ got more detail in them,

Will let you know Wednesday , how i got on .......


First lesson me given in 2 1/2 years ,,,,,,,,, ouch
