Not sure about living on the Island, but some buddies and I are hoping to visit the first w/end of Feb & would like to do a w/ends diving. However I seem unable to find a dive center thats open during the winter months to hire cylinders & weight belts!!
Do you know of anyone who can help.

Hi
Not sure where you're staying but the following centres say they dive year round:
Scuba Mallorca: www.scubamallorca.com
and so does the BSAC centre in Santa Ponsa although their site is a little contradictory, so try them
<a href="http://www.bsactravelclub.co.uk/where/balearics.htm" >http://www.bsactravelclub.co.uk/where/balearics.htm</a>
Either of them should be able to point you in the right direction even if they can't help themselves.
Hope this helps

When I lived in both Sant Elm and S?Arracco I joined the CAS Triton in Palma. It is a part of FEBAS. The offices are over the top of the big diving shop, the name of which escapes me at the moment.
It was members of CAS Triton that helped me do the DIver Test of the Apeks regulator (four up at 55m) which seemed to make such a difference to the fortunes of that company.
