Diving in Germany

Hi

does anyone know of any dive sites in Germany, I'm going to North Rhine-Westphalia (Paderborn area) and would like to find somewhere close enough to pop along on a weekend.

Messinghausen Quarry, about 45 mins south of Paderborn. About 30m deep and crystal clear, apart from the viz not much else a v small population of fish etc and a bus and cars.

I liked it (moved away now), though the viz is suspiciously good (I always wondered what they quarried?).

It was cheaper than UK inland sites though v v basic. Air was not always available.

Apart from that, I cant offer much. I would reccomend going to the dive show in Jan (at the Messe), really good for a look at the german dive scene. I picked up loads of flyers for the lakes in S Germany and Austria, some of
the stuff looked really interesting.
