Has anyone experience of diving in Brazil, especially around Rio.

I haven't personally, but I have read some articles in Diver mag written by people who have dived there at various locations. If you visit the Divernet web site, you will find a section given over to articles on travel destination - one of them being Brazil - and I'm sure the articles will be in there. From memory, it's quite seasonal because the viz is very low err... bit like the UK on a bad day... at certain times of the year.

I know a girl who's just back from Rio and she said the diving to the South wasn't that good and next time she's going North.
