Can anyone give us some advice,we are booked on the'Cyclone'
in November and will be taking our Inspirations.
Any advice as to weight allowances ect,and how much sofnalime
used on similar liveaboard trips. We were advised that we could
order Sofnalime and get it sent there, but at ?269 for 20kg thought that a bit steep.
Current weight allowance of 20Kg seems a bit low...any ideas
or experiences taking rebreathers welcomed
Thanks

Hi Steve
I own an inspiration and I am booked on Cyclone in September, I haven't yet ventured abroad with it contemplating Mexico in a few weeks.
As far as the Red Sea is concerned and in particular Cyclone Contact either Andy Abery at Mikes Waterfront Warehouse London Colney nr St Albans, Herts he regularly takes groups of CCR uses on Cyclone and should have it pretty well sorted. You could also contact Peter Collings hes a regular Wreck/photog nut who runs guided wreck weeks aboard Cyclone even if hes not onboard your week he should be able to assist. He can be contacted thro' Tony Backhurst Scuba.
I will be speaking to both before September and will let you know how I get on.
Hope this helps
