Just about to leave school and have never tryed diving before but wanted to live somewhere exotic and teach diving rather than be stuck in some bad job on in a hotel waitering which i have been doing what sort of qualfications etc would i need would really appreciate your know how

Well Craig there's a problem.

There is a bit of a glut of dive instructors in the world so for every job there are ten takers so it pays chicken feed.
Plus dealing with customers, apparently, sucks and few people last all that long in it.
Then it costs quite a bit in time, equipment and cash to qualify.

This means it's a bit of a life style choice but it's reckoned to be better than working for a living by those that do it. Check your bank account and if it's reasonably healthy Google for PADI and your nearest large seaside town.

You should give your lifestyle a try. Maybe think about going off rep'ing in a holiday resort for a season - probably next summer now - and see if you enjoy the life style. You could take some time out whilst abroad to do a basic diving course and gradually build experience.

You might find you hate diving. You might find you hate the sun. You might also find it is harder work than it looks/sounds.
