Hi
I am going to buy a computer and have decided on something from the Sunnto range.
I would like to buy one with gas switching capabilities so looked at the Vytec and the Vyper 2.
The Vytec is only £20 more expensive than the Vyper 2 and has air integration, and 2 deco gas switches instead of 1. Can anyone think of a reason I (or anyone) shouldn't spend the extra £20?
Thanks
Chris

Maybe you can't afford it? :)

Remember the air integration requires a transmitter unit that costs several hundred pounds....
Neither. Apeks Quantum. £145.

Have you got one that actually works now ?
Vyper 2 has a compass ?
But I went for the Vytec.
I looked at the Quantum but at the time they had loads of problems.

Nick
If that was the shortlist, then get the Vytec. Sod the compass on the Vyper 2, its just another thing to go wrong. Buy an SK-7 and put that next to the computer. Same thing but less reliance on technology.

Ive got both Vytec Ds vyper2,and to be honest the compass on the vyper2 is crap wont give a bearing after a +- 5 degree tilt but a nice unit both easy to use. i suppose the extra £20 is worth it. Both good
