I have booked a holiday in hawaii and am looking for some recommendations of where to dive and who to dive with.

I've been looking through the various offers on the net, but nearly everything is geared up to puddle divers and holiday beginner dive training packages.

I would like something a bit more like real diving. It doesn't need to be deep (although deep is fine by me) provided that the diving is good! Wrecks would be great and interesting wall and coral dives would also be okay, provided that they offered more than the usual puddle dive guided tours.

All help is appreciated. If I get some good diving in, I'll submit a report to the travel website for future travellers.

Cheers, Steve Anderson

On The Big Island I dived with Jack's Diving Locker in Kona.
They cater to American holidaymakers,of course, but they do it very well.
When I was there in Dec.2001 they ran an 'advanced' boat but possibly not every day.The regular boat goes out every day.
I would use them again.
