The automated Members Only system has just activated. It's running on a test database that's a few weeks old so the membership information might not be up-to-date

This may need a few tweaks here and there, by far the biggest problem seems to be a digital input processing error (i.e. finger trouble :)). As per the instructions on the CP page your membership number starts with an 'A' and your branch number is always 4 digits with leading zeros if needed - I may change the system later to do that automatically for you.

Rather than wait a full hour to test it I've put it on a 10 minute cycle for now - so if you want to try it then it runs at the top of the hour and every 10 minutes after that.

Obviously I'll need to dig out my membership card before I'm allowed in.

That's the problem with being a lifer you don't get a new one each year ... now where did I leave it?

There's a 'Life Member' option in the month drop-down, all you need is your number and branch.

No Keith - I'd clocked that option - my problem is keeping track of a piece of credit sized cardboard with my membership number on it that they sent me oh, 6-7 years ago  .

Whereas, when you pay annually you get a new card so you can at least look at your membership number once a year before you loose it :D .

If only my memory was ... what's the word?
