Hi all,

I would like to use the dive simulator in the Suunto Dive Manager software, but not using just a single cylinder, I want to simulate gas switching.

The simulation I want to test out is diving on twinn 10's on air with a 7ltr side slung using 50%.

The problem is I cant seem to find out how to switch gases during the ascent?

I have tried selecting the second cylinder at a set point in the dive but nothing happens when I select the cylinder by ticking the box, it just continues using the first cylinder.

Anyone used this facility succesfully?

regards

Hamish

I've never tried doing a gas switch, as I don't have that facility on my Gekko. However, what I have noticed on Suunto Dive Manager is that the simulation programme has a bug. If you try and make adjustments to things, nothing happens. The solution is to close and reopen the programme after making each adjustment. That has worked for all the problems I've had, so would be worth trying for gas-switching.

Hi Bog..?

Thanks for the reply, I have been playing around and have found my problem was, I was not entering a change of mix for the gas switch, duh!:o

So have solved the problem.

Thanks anyway for taking the trouble to try and answer my question.
