Hi all, we are looking for a thrustworthy dive centre in sardinia. Any info on diving over there? We are two (almost) sports divers going to Sardinia in next week.
thanx!

It's going to depend where you are on the island (Its a BIG island). I was over there a couple of years ago and dived with Argonauta Diving Club, Cala Gonone on the east of the island. They were a nice bunch, had some good reefs close by, and the wreck of the KT12 in 30m is a very good dive.

I'm just back from 2 weeks in Sardinia. As mentioned by an earlier post it is a large island and so diving is largely dependant on your location. For me I was in Porto Rotondo and the must dive in the area is Tavolara, a marine reserve. Dive site is Secca de Papa - a pinnacle rising from 45m to 15 m, every dive I had there was excellent, feeding barracuda, large grouper everwhere, morays all over. Watch your deco as its so easy to get carried away with so much action.

I went out with a local shop called Atlantica (www.atlanticascuba.com) but there are loads of dive operators all over the island.
