I had a holiday on Shalkamy ExplorerII in 2000.
I was not impressed...
We did the northern itinery.
She was looking and feeling her age then!
No nitrox - we had to carry extra nitrox cylinders.
1/2 the trip ended up with severe food poisoning
The guide was useless!
The crew were dirty and took over the longe so they could watch football every night!

yes I did complain to the guide - he was watching the football..
yes I did complain to the company - who went bust!

So unless she has had a recent thorough refit... I'd go on another boat.

I haven't dived on SEx, but we did she her last september, she was assisting the boat I was on Hurricane in trying to tow another liveaboard off a reef, we failed by the way :-) she looked very rough and not something I would want to be on. There are lots of good, well run boats out there. I have to say I am not surprised your tour company has offered you this boat, I don't suppose anyone would really book it.
