Does anyone have any info on diving holidays to Truk?

Best time of the year and where to go?
Best operators etc. Lessons to be learnt etc.

I was in truk (chuuk) in 2002 and it was worth the expense and travelling. We went with Explorer tours who were very helpful. We were told the best time of year was from Dec - April so opted for late feb early march. WoW !! is all i can say we had a few rain showers and overcast days but it was welcome change from the heat. Make sure you have the right insurance we went with Westfield. Also try and get a boat with a cover, my mate got burnt from sitting in the sun with no cover and your out for the day (beware). Went in October '03

Was on the Odyssey liveaboard, excellent boat in all respects.
Spent one night with Blue Lagoon. I had made the right choice!

Going that far, without having the best dive opportunities, is a waste of resources IMO.
