hi guys, i've only just registered with the sight and am look for advice on where there might be some goon harpooning/snorkelling spots in wales, more specifically south wales. i'm a student in cardiff uni and would love to be able to drive somewhere neerby once in a while for a dip.

any help would be welcome

I thought the Goons were now extinct :)

You might find that spearfishing is not very PC for a lot of scuba divers. You might a better reception at http://www.underwaterfishing.co.uk/

But apparently using a aqualung while "flatty bashing" is something to be proud of (I guess its like spearfishing but with less chance of the fish getting away ?)

A reflection that most divers are probablt just worried about their safety ?

Didn't i read here a while ago that spearfishing with SCUBA was going to be (or is) outlawed EU wide now ?
